FOR ALL OVERSEAS TRAVELLERS and PATIENTS RETURNING FROM OVERSEAS

ESPECIALLY TO AND FROM CHINA, INDONESIA (INCLUDING BALI), JAPAN, THAILAND, HONG KONG, SINGAPORE AND

If you are experiencing Flu like symptoms e.g. fever , cough with or without shortness within the first 14 days following your overseas’ stay, you will need to be immediately isolated and managed as per the current recommendations for suspected Coronavirus cases, with urgent testing undertaken in an environment which minimises the exposure of others. That would be either at your home or at the hospital. So, please call before you make an appointment and advise us if any of the above applies to you.

If you believe your condition is severe or moderate to severe, please present to the Emergency Department.

Your close contacts also need to watch for any Flu like symptoms e.g. fever, cough with or without shortness within the first 14 days following your return from your overseas’ stay and to be treated as suspected Coronavirus cases, with urgent testing undertaken as mentioned above.
