Welcome to Shenton Avenue Medical Centre! After hours walk in clinic and Bulk Billing Doctors in Currambine.

At Shenton Avenue Medical Centre, the road to wellness begins right at our front door. All of our patients, new and returning, are welcomed by our helpful and accommodating admin staff, who believe the best start to patient care is friendliness. Our facilities have a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere we have bulk billing doctors with an after hours walk in and after hours bulk billing doctors clinic, and all of our equipment is state-of-the-art. The doctors at Shenton Avenue Medical Centre are vastly experienced, with a shared view to improve the health and well-being of the surrounding community through the delivery of integrated, holistic and sustainable Primary Care.

Fully accredited and patient-focused, Shenton Avenue Medical Centre is completely in-house, offering pathology, physiotherapy, podiatry and dermatology skin cancer clinic on-site, in addition to our general practice.

Open 7 days a week, with extended after-hours service, Shenton Avenue Medical Centre is accessible to everyone; providing the local community with affordable first class medical treatment.


We are open 7 days a week and our After Hours opening times are from 7.30am – 8.00am and  8.00pm – 9.00pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 12.30pm – 5pm and Sunday 9am – 2pm . Walk-ins and same-day bookings are welcome.


Bulk-billing is offered on all Medicare-related services, and instant electronic claiming is available.


Shenton Avenue Medical Centre is fully disabled/wheelchair accessible. We have ample parking at the entry to the building and on adjacent streets.


Having our own pathology laboratory allows for a speedy and accurate turnaround of results from blood tests and biopsies. Typically, blood test results come back within 2-3 days.


As well as having specialist fields of interest, the doctors at Shenton Avenue Medical Centre are general practitioners in the truest sense, which sees their role encompass that of physician, counsellor, management planner, dietitian, or just a trusted source of good advice. Our doctors feel very strongly about matters of trust and patient confidentiality, taking very seriously their role as family physician.


Shenton Avenue Medical Centre has male and female doctors and offers specialist treatment for both men’s and women’s health, including recurring treatments such as breast and testicular cancer checks, pap smears and prostate examinations.


We have a large selection of medical information brochures on hand, and visitors to Shenton Avenue Medical Centre are encouraged to ask our friendly admin staff for help if they require information of any particular nature.


Naturally, as a family practice, Shenton Avenue Medical Centre offers medical care for the whole family; from babies to the elderly (and all of the years in-between). We have specialists in paediatrics and geriatrics, in addition to the broader cover of general practice.


Chronic medical conditions are those that have been (or are likely to be) present for six months or longer, such as asthma, diabetes, arthritis and depression. Management Plans can help people suffering from chronic medical conditions by providing an organised approach to care that identifies the patient’s health care needs, sets out services the doctor will provide, and lists the actions the patient needs to take. In some cases, team-based Management Plans can be implement by your doctor to include other health care professionals.
